The drill comprised four stages, namely shifting combat readiness posture to higher level, making preparations for the combat, combating, and recovering combat strength.

In each stage, participating agencies and units focused on the actions of the commanding officer, the reception of combat readiness status shifting order; determination to combat; assignment of tasks; reporting and approval of combat plans; troops’ maneuverability and combat; implementation of Party and political work in operation; and guarantee of logistics supplies and technical services.

This exercise helped Division 377 accurately assess the command capability and the organization of forces of all-level chains-of-command; the cooperation and coordination among forces in a unit or with partners to meet the requirement of modern air defense operations; and the adaptability of troops in arduous, fierce, continuous, long wars.

Based on lessons drawn from the exercise, the Air Defense – Air Force Service will supplement combat and training plans so as to improve the combat readiness capability of its affiliates.
