Before entering the live-fire phase, Division 346 coordinated with other units of Military Region 1 to complete various stages of the exercise. They included shifting combat readiness posture, marching into the assembly area, preparing for combat, and practicing combat and live-fire phase.

During the live-fire phase, under the scenario of "Infantry battalion attacking enemy defensive positions," Division 346 closely coordinated with participating units. The exercise’s organizers ordered Battalion 2 of Regiment 246 to flexibly apply combat tactics, quickly breaching, capturing key positions, maneuvering forces, and advancing in the battle. All targets were successfully destroyed, and the live-fire exercise ensured absolute safety in personnel and equipment.

The results of the exercise allowed the Military Region 1’s steering board for exercises to accurately assess the command capabilities of officers at all levels, as well as the combat readiness coordination between the division and local armed forces. This evaluation was conducted in the context of reinforced technical equipment and operations on midland terrain, which closely reflected real defense tasks and the local battlefield.

The exercise also helped assess the division’s mobility, the staff work capabilities of its agencies, the tactical and technical skills of troops, and their proficiency in using various types of weapons and equipment during combat practice and live-fire exercise. These results will serve as a foundation for Military Region 1 to continue innovating its training methods and exercise organization in the coming years, better meeting the increasingly higher requirements for training and combat readiness in the current context.
