According to the MR1 leadership, the unit achieved many good results of training and building a strong defensive zone. They also strictly adjusted its organizational structure according to the regulations; checked the quality of training and combat readiness of the local militia and self-defense forces as scheduled; and prepared its recruitment plan. In addition, MR1 maintained a combat readiness posture, while seriously conducting search and rescue operations, and COVID-19 prevention and control work.

Addressing the event, General San highly valued the great achievements of the armed forces of MR1 over the past time. He also asked them to enhance political education for troops, to ensure a firm political stance and fulfill all assigned missions. The MR1 chain of command should also closely work with other relevant forces to grasp situations in the areas where its affiliated units are stationed to be ready for any situations, so as to ensure an environment of peace and stability for national development.

The Deputy Defense Minister also requested the unit to strictly organize training missions in line with military discipline and regulations, ensure logistic work, and draw up plans to implement search and rescue missions as well as COVID-19 prevention and control work.

The MR1 Command was urged to build strong defensive areas in couple with the “people's heart” warfare and effectively carry out mass mobilization work to enhance military-civilian ties.
