Deputy defense minister visits Military Hospital 175
PANO - Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Vu Hai San paid a working visit to Military Hospital 175 on April 20.
The defense leader was accompanied by leaders of several departments and functional agencies of the Ministry of National Defense.

During the visit, General San inspected task performance of several departments and progress of some ongoing projects of the hospital. According to Major General Nguyen Hong Son, Director of Military Hospital 175, the hospital has completed its training programs and developed and applied many new medical techniques to treating patients as well as ensured health consultancy for the medical station in Truong Sa (Spratly) island district, Khanh Hoa province.
The hospital is also implementing various projects such as a general hospital with 1,000 beds.

After listening to a report delivered by the hospital’s leaders and paying a fact-finding tour to their affiliated units, General San expressed his delight at seeing outcomes of the hospital’s task performance over the past time. He applauded efforts of the hospital’s medical personnel in conducting the COVID-19 prevention and control and providing healthcare for people and troops in Ho Chi Minh City.

The deputy defense minister stressed that the hospital will be developed to become a special hospital in the Southern region. Therefore, the hospital’s leadership should continue implementing synchronous measures such as disseminating resolutions and directives of the Party and missions of the unit, building strong Party organizations and solidarity among personnel, and building high-quality human resource, he added.

In addition, General San required the hospital to invest more in infrastructure and medical equipment in line with researching and applying modern technologies to serving the provision of healthcare and treatment for troops and people.
