PANO - A defence delegation, led by Deputy Defence Minister Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Cung, inspected the border posts of Vam Chang Trau, Phuoc Tan, Moc Bai, and Long Phuoc of the Tay Ninh Border Guard Command on September 7th.
Joining the delegation were representatives from the Ministry of National Defence's constituent agencies, the Border Guard Command and the Military Zone 7 High Command of the Vietnam People's Army.

At the meeting, General Cung hailed the border posts' troops for the results of their task performance over the past time. Accordingly, they have worked closely with local authorities to share information, improve combat readiness, and fight crimes, smuggling and trade fraud, contributing to protecting national sovereignty and border security as well as building a shared border of peace and friendship.
In addition, he urged the units' commanders to thoroughly grasp the Party's guidelines and the State's laws to raise their troops' awareness and responsibilities when carrying out missions, to promote solidarity and unity in their units, and manage weapons and equipment well, contributing to fulfilling all assigned missions under any circumstances.
