Defense Minister works with Military Hospital 175
PANO – Defense Minister, General Ngo Xuan Lich and the mission of the Ministry of National Defense (MND) had a working session with the leadership of Military Hospital 175 on September 9.
The mission inspected all-round operations of the hospital, including the reception and treatment of patients, its capital construction, investment in medical equipment, external relation activities, and the construction of its Traumatology and Orthopedics Hospital.
The leadership of the hospital reported to the defense minister their task accomplishment over the past time and also made some proposals to the MND aiming at solving some existing issues and providing favorable conditions for the hospital to better fulfill tasks in the future.
On behalf of the MND, General Ngo Xuan Lich hailed the troops, medical workers, and doctors of the hospital for achievements that they’ve made over the past time. He stressed that the hospital should thoroughly implement the planning and construction of the hospital’s infrastructure and strictly observe laws and regulations in carrying out capital construction.
The defense minister also directed the hospital’s leadership to closely supervise its investment in medical equipment acquisition while making the most of its existing equipment. He assigned relevant agencies of the MND to supporting Military Hospital 175 in working out the plan for the hospital’s financial autonomous mechanism.
In terms of professional expertise, the minister called for more focus on military medicine research to better fulfill military tasks and to develop the hospital into one of the leading medical organizations in the Southern region of the country. The medical staff and workers of the hospital must uphold the virtues and ethics of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in serving troops and civilians.
At the end of the session, General Lich assigned relevant agencies of the MND to coordinating with Hospital 175 to consider its proposals and better deal with arising problems during the implementation of tasks in the coming time.
