He highlighted achievements in combat readiness, socio-economic development projects, and poverty reduction. Key efforts also included strengthening local political systems, mass mobilization, disaster relief, legal education, and building a robust all-people’s defense posture.

General Hien praised the unit’s military and economic achievements over the past year. He urged leadership to effectively implement Party resolutions, particularly from the 14th National Party Congress. Emphasizing political duty and internal unity, he called for close coordination to maintain local security and proactive situational readiness.

The General also directed the unit to ensure personnel well-being during the Lunar New Year. Key priorities include food safety, fire prevention, and traffic security to guarantee a safe, joyful, and economical Tet while maintaining high combat readiness and supporting local celebrations. On the same day, Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Vu Hai San visited and extended New Year greetings to the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command.

Commending the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command’s recent successes, General San highlighted its leadership in local defense affairs. Notably, the unit advised the provincial People’s Council on militia allowances and established nearly 70 standing squads with secure budgets, making Quang Ninh a national leader in militia policy.

He urged the command to continue advising local authorities to support socio-economic growth while strictly maintaining combat readiness. Additionally, the unit must ensure troop welfare during the Lunar New Year, support newly assigned grassroots officers, and prepare for a solemn, safe, and spirited recruitment and training season.
