General Staff delegation inspects Truong Sa Archipelago and DK1 Platforms

The delegation inspected various locations, including Da Nam, Son Ca, Da Thi, Sinh Ton Dong, Len Dao, Toc Tan C, Phan Vinh B, Da Dong A, Truong Sa Dong, Da Tay A, Da Lat, and the DK1/14 platform. At each site, they evaluated combat readiness, discipline, political work, and logistics, while also assessing the welfare of troops and civilians. Activities included meeting personnel, presenting gifts, and attending memorial services for fallen soldiers.

Concluding the mission, Lt. Gen. Nguyen Ba Luc affirmed that objectives were met. Units strictly maintained training routines and island defense drills following the "basic, practical, and solid" principle, with live-fire exercises achieving strong results safely. Effective political work has bolstered morale, while units improved living conditions and equipment maintenance. On this occasion, the Naval Service awarded "For the Cause of Defending Maritime Sovereignty" insignia and "Truong Sa Soldier" badges to delegation members.
