Military Region 3 Command pays pre-Tet visits in Quang Ninh province
PANO - On the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet), on January 24, a working delegation of Military Region 3, led by its Deputy Political Commissar Major General Khuc Thanh Du paid pre-Tet visits and extended Tet greetings to the Party Committee, authorities, armed forces, and people of Quang Ninh province.
The delegation was hosted by Standing Vice Chairman of the People’s Council of Quang Ninh province Nguyen Duc Thanh, Political Chief of Military Region 3 Major General Doan Hoai Nam, and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command Senior Colonel Hoang Van Thuyet.

At the meeting, Nguyen Duc Thanh briefed the delegation on the province’s socio-economic development, national defense and security situation in 2025, and the results of coordination with Military Region 3 in carrying out military and defense tasks and building defensive areas.
Major General Khuc Thanh Du highly appreciated the achievements attained by Quang Ninh province and expressed his hope that the locality would continue to closely coordinate with Military Region 3, pay attention to building comprehensively-strong armed forces, and firmly maintain political stability and social order and safety.

On the same day, the Military Region 3 delegation inspected combat readiness, training, demobilization, and Tet organization at the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command; visited and extended Tet greetings to several units stationed in the province; and paid pre-Tet visits to the families of former leaders of the Military Region 3 Command residing in Quang Ninh province.
