In the solemn atmosphere, delegates saluted the national flag and sung the national anthem.

Reportedly, Lung Cu national flagpole was recognized as the national historical site by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in 2019. The flagpole locates on the top of the Rong (Dragon) mountain. Notably, the giant 54sq.m national flag flying at the flagpole shows the solidarity of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.

In the same day, the mission visited and presented gifts to troops of Lung Cu Border Post and the Military Command in Yen Minh district, Ha Giang province on the occasion of the coming 2024 lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.

Previously, they also extended Tet greetings to the Military Command in Meo Vac district, Ha Giang province.
