Defense leader inspects military units

General Cuong welcomed at Army Corps 4

Speaking at the working session, General Cuong acknowledged achievements of the units over the past time, especially in implementing the dual targets.

He required the units’ leadership to review their set plans to implement additional training contents for all troops, prepare 2022 training programs, maintain combat readiness to promptly deal with unexpected situations as well as fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Regarding the Party and political work, the deputy defense minister asked the units’ Party committees and chains-of-command to build internal solidarity and unity, understand troops’ thought, fight against wrongful viewpoints of hostile forces, renew mass mobilization, contributing to fulfilling all assigned tasks.

General Cuong speaks at the visit to Division 5 of Military Region 7.

On the occasion, General Cuong and the delegation offered incense at the Memorial House of President Ho Chi Minh and for war martyrs of Army Corps 4 and Division 5.

The delegation also inspected political education and military training as well as toured the barracks of Regiment 4 of Division 5.
