Chemical Battalion 38 is a main force involved in spraying disinfectants in Binh Duong province. From the beginning of 2021, the unit has sent hundreds of troops with specialized vehicles to disinfect areas of more than 500 hectares in five localities in the province.

Since the beginning of the fourth COVID-19 outbreak in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province, the chemical troops have wholeheartedly joined the local COVID-19 prevention and control effort.

Meanwhile, the chemistry sector of the army corps is always proactive in surveying, firmly following local situations, and developing plans for pandemic prevention and control at each level.

In addition, to raise the effectiveness of disinfection, in July 2021, chemical troops of the corps successfully improved the smoke camouflage vehicle “KH-01” for sterilization and disinfection, contributing to the corps’ task performance in combating COVID-19.
