Comradeship houses presented to needy troops
PANO - The General Staff and the General Department of Logistics of the Vietnam People’s Army on November 14 handed over comradeship houses to their troops in housing difficulty.
Recipients are Captain Tran Van Ty from Center 95 of the Electronic Warfare Department under the General Staff and Second Lieutenant Phan Duy, a reserve officer of Brigade 972 of the Department of Transportation under the General Department of Logistics.
The house granted to Captain Tran Van Ty was constructed in Toa Tinh commune, Tuan Giao district, Dien Bien province with VND 70 million drawn from the “Day for the Poor” fund of the General Staff in response to the emulation campaign “Whole nation join hands for the poor to ensure that no one will be left behind by 2020.”
Meanwhile, the VND 140 million house, built in Tam An commune, Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province for Second Lieutenant Phan Duy, demonstrates the due care of Brigade 972 for its reserve force to help them stabilize their life and inspire them to fulfill their missions.
On this occasion, the two units also presented their needy troops with essential home appliances.
