More gratitude houses handed over to needy people
PANO – The Kien Giang provincial Military Command recently handed over two gratitude houses to a poor discharged serviceman and a needy cadre in Rach Gia city.

Accordingly, the command presented a 90-sq.m. house to Danh Nhut, a discharged serviceman, on Nguyen Binh Khiem street, Vinh Quang district; and presented a 80-sq.m. house to Lieutenant Colonel Duong Tan Su, an officer at the Military Command of Tan Hiep district.
Each house was built at a cost of VND 50 million from the “Gratitude Houses for Comrades” fund of the provincial military command. On this occasion, the command handed over 10 other gratitude houses, worth VND 500 million, in the districts of Go Quao, Tan Hiep, An Bien, An Minh and Rach Gia.
* The Department of Politics under the General Department of Politics, in association with local People’s Committee and Military Command of Hanoi’s Ha Dong and Gia Lam districts, handed over gratitude houses to Dang Thi Thu, wife of martyr Tran Cong Uan, in Phu Luong ward, Ha Dong district, and Nguyen Van Khanh, a wounded soldier, in Trung Mau commune, Gia Lam district.
The Department of Politics supported VND 70 million to build each house and after five months of construction, the two houses were completed. Also at the hand-over ceremony, the Department of Politics and its units presented a number of practical gifts to the two families.
