CMC Inspection Committee maps out future tasks
PANO - The Inspection Committee of the Central Military Commission (CMC) in the 2020-2025 period convened its third meeting on September 27 under the chair of its chairman General Luong Cuong.
Present at the meeting were members of the committee including Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Huy Vinh, Deputy Defense Minister, and representatives from the Inspection Mission No.13 of the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission.
At the meeting, participants heard a report on the results of the review and proposals on taking disciplinary action by the Standing Board of CMC’s Inspection Committee. They also discussed, analyzed, clarified, and gave conclusion on violations and cast votes to discipline individuals and organizations in line with the Party’s regulations and military discipline.
In his speech, General Luong Cuong, Politburo member, permanent member of the CMC, and Director of the General Department of Politic Affairs, highly appreciated the advisory and preparation work of the Standing Board of the CMC's Inspection Committee. He also highlighted the board’s activeness in inspection, supervision, grasping situations, and giving recommendations in a reasonable manner.
General Cuong asked the board to further advise the Standing Committee of the CMC, the CMC’s Inspection Committee to issue close directions related to inspection, supervision, and disciplinary actions.
The board was also requested to actively follow situational developments, detect and inspect Party members and Party cells with signs of violations and promptly and thoroughly handle petitions, letters of denunciation and complaints, contributing to improving the leadership capacity and combat strength of Party cells, boosting solidarity, and completing political missions.
