Border Guard Command takes care of its troops in Gia Lai province
PANO - As the lunar New Year festival (Tet) 2021 is coming, a delegation of the Vietnam Border Guard Command, led by its Commander Major General Le Duc Thai, visited and extended Tet greetings to troops of the Reconnaissance Unit in the Central region and the Gia Lai provincial Border Guard Command on January 18.

At the Reconnaissance Unit in the Central region, General Thai hailed and applauded the unit’s achievements. Reportedly, the unit has closely followed situations in the area and effectively fought crimes in the border areas, contributing to ensuring social order.
Additionally, the unit effectively implemented political education as well as combat readiness regulations, and built a comprehensively strong unit.
On the same day, the delegation also visited the Gia Lai provincial Border Guard Command, its border posts, and checkpoints against the COVID-19 pandemic along the borderlines.
General Thai spoke highly of the troops’ great efforts and achievements over the past time, and requested them to continue promoting their achieved outcomes to successfully fulfill all assigned missions.
On the occasion of the lunar New Year festival 2021, General Thai presented gifts and extended Tet wishes to border troops in Gia Lai province.
