Army Corps assists Gia Lai province’s efforts in containing COVID-19
PANO – On May 7, Army Corps 3 and Gia Lai province’s Electricity Company handed over 1.4 tons of rice to policy beneficiaries and households in need amid the COVID-19 pandemic in the province.
Army Corps 3 worked with local authorities of H’Nol and Trang communes of Dak Doa district to present 1.2 tons of rice to 85 policy beneficiaries, those who had rendered good service to the revolutionary and needy households. The military unit’s deed aims to share local people’s difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The gifts may not be worth much in value, but they were a source of encouragement for local people to overcome difficulties, demonstrated troops’ sentiment and responsibility for the community, and helped strengthen military-civilian solidarity, contributing to maintaining political security and public order.
At Gao and Ia Kenh communes of Pleiku city, the provincial Electricity Company visited and gave gifts, including 200kg of rice and necessities, to 20 local household in need.
During the pandemic, the company has offered nearly three tons of rice and necessities to needy people and donated VND 100 million to assist the province’s COVID-19 containment efforts.
