In 2025, the force has successfully fulfilled its missions of combat readiness, airspace management, flight operations control, and other assigned ad hoc tasks. It has pro-actively carried out advisory and proposal work for the Ministry of National Defense in the fields of air defense and air force operations to protect the nation’s airspace, sea and islands. The service has also coordinated effectively to ensure security and safety for major political events of the country, and deployed forces and assets to assist the population in disaster prevention, response, search and rescue efforts, earning high appreciation from the people and local authorities.

In addition, the service has completed all assigned targets and contents of combat training; education and training; organizational building and discipline management. It has organized training, drills and participated in exercises with absolute safety; taken part in and organized specialized training courses as planned; and achieved high results in competitions and contests at all levels.

Units have strictly maintained and complied with regulations and flight training syllabi. Flight technical inspections and grading have been conducted in a substantive and rigorous manner; parachute training for relevant forces has been carried out safely; and coordination with related units in conducting test firings and acceptance of the technical and tactical performance of weapons and equipment has been ensured in a strict and safe manner.

Agencies and units have thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented guard and patrol regimes; maintained daily and weekly routines; effectively managed facilities, warehouses and infantry weapons and ammunition; ensured adequate logistical supplies and technical equipment; and promoted research and application of science and technology, technological innovation and digital transformation in assigned tasks.

Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Tran Ngoc Quyen requested agencies and units of the ADAF Service to continue to thoroughly study and strictly implement directives, orders, instructions and plans of the Ministry of National Defense regarding combat readiness missions. They should pro-actively advise the CMC and the MND to develop plans, countermeasures and  the employment of air defense and air force forces to protect national sovereignty and territorial integrity, especially sovereignty over borders, sea and islands. He also stressed the importance of closely monitoring situations in the air, at sea and in cyberspace; managing airspace and flight operations in a strict manner; and accurately and promptly handling air defense operational situations.

Lt. Gen. Tran Ngoc Quyen also highlighted the need to effectively exploit and use weapons and equipment, especially newly introduced systems; to organize exercises and be ready to participate in drills organized by the MND, partner units and localities.

Units were urged to strictly maintain and comply with flight training regulations and syllabi, and to ensure flight safety. Focus should be placed on training to improve piloting skills, navigation, combat application, and enhancing combat readiness and combat capability for pilots and flight crews; improving individual operational skills and coordination within combat teams; and enhancing proficiency in operating and employing newly introduced and upgraded weapons and equipment.

He called on the entire service to uphold unity, promote initiative and creativity, and remain determined to successfully accomplish all tasks and targets set for 2026.
