In his remarks, Sr. Lt. Gen. Vu Hai San applauded agencies and units for their coordination in making preparations for the working session. According to their functions and responsibilities, each agency and unit from both sides should pro-actively coordinate with each other and speed up the implementation of tasks in accordance with the conclusions of the two Standing Boards.

This includes focusing on reviewing and completing the dossiers; actively studying legal documents, and pro-actively giving recommendations to the CMC, the Ministry of National Defense (MND), and the Hanoi municipal People's Committee on leadership, direction, and coordination in task performance.

The General Department of Logistics - Technical Services should take into consideration the opinions of the delegates, finalize the draft report, and coordinate with relevant agencies to ensure the preparation work for the meeting between the working groups of the MND and Hanoi.

* On the same day, an MND delegation led by Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Pham Hoai Nam visited and worked with Viettel Manufacturing Corporation (VMC), a subsidiary of the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel).

Over the past time, the VMC has mastered the technology in electronic manufacturing, precision engineering, particularly in the technology of cutting various structures and precise details, as well as integrated machining for products with complex requirements and high precision.

Meanwhile, the VMC has expanded its operation in new technology, including composites, vacuum casting, and surface treatment. In 2025, the corporation aims to continue production and promote research and development in more new fields, moving towards mastering core technologies, material technologies, automation, and guidance control technologies in dual-use products, including autonomous vehicles, industrial robots, and unmanned aerial devices, among others.

Speaking at the event, Sr. Lt. Gen. Pham Hoai Nam required the VMC to continue to uphold the spirit of creativity and proactiveness and enhance the research and development of products with high scientific content and specificity; invest in developing high-tech products in line with Resolution No.08-NQ/TW of the Politburo with focus on ensuring the quality of products in general, and products serving the modernization of the military, training activities, as well as combat readiness of the whole military in particular.

* On March 4, a delegation of the General Staff (GS) led by its Deputy Chief Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc checked Division 330’s practice of shifting combat readiness status.

Concluding the inspection, Gen. Ngoc highly appreciated Division 330’s thorough preparation for and careful practice of shifting combat readiness status.

The GS deputy chief asked the unit to continue to review, adjust, and complete document system on shifting combat readiness status; maintain military discipline and strictly observe combat readiness regulations; ensure logistics supplies and technical services for the tasks; and continually improve the mobility of forces and vehicles to meet the task requirements in any circumstances.
