The handover took place at the headquarters of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO) on March 24th within the framework of the Veterans Initiative Task Force (VITF) of VVA.
Accordingly, VVA transferred to Vietnam five sets of documents related to 183 cases of Vietnamese soldiers who died in the war against American invaders.
The VVA delegation is visiting Vietnam from March 22th to April 10th, and, as planned, the delegation will work with the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Foreign Affair during their visit.
The delegation will have a trip to Binh Duong Province to help locate graves of Vietnamese soldiers on highway 13.
Moreover, on the way to Thua Thien–Hue, they will stop at Phuoc Tuong Pass, Phuoc Loc District to identify graves of Vietnamese commandos who died in the attack on the U.S Tomahawk artillery base.
