General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of National Defense

The visit, taking place from July 12 to 15, is aimed at maintaining high-level exchanges between the defense ministries of Vietnam and Japan, contributing to strengthening mutual understanding and trust; and outlining future directions for bilateral defense cooperation, thus further deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia and the world between the two countries.
