The joint patrol is successful

The participating forces included Ship 251 from Naval Region 5 of the Vietnam People’s Navy and Ship 1142 from the Royal Cambodian Navy.

During the patrol, the two sides worked together to conduct search and rescue; suppress piracy; prevent drug trafficking, illegal weapons and explosives transport.

Within the framework of the joint patrol, the two countries’ navies also carried out maritime flag and lamp signal training in line with the International Codes of Signals.

Thanks to careful preparations and close coordination, the 63rd joint patrol of the Vietnamese and Cambodian navies concluded successfully, contributing to maintaining a peaceful and stable environment in the historical waters of Vietnam and Cambodia, as well as creating favorable conditions for the two countries’ people to develop their marine economy.
