Both sides ink the minutes of the meeting.

Reportedly, in 2024, the two sides have seriously implemented contents according to the agreement between the Vietnam Border Guard Command and the Cambodian National Police as well as the minutes of the talks between the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command and the police force of Mondulkiri province. Particularly, they have regularly exchanged information on social order and security along the shared borderline, and joined hands to address all issues following the law and in the spirit of friendship, solidarity, and respect for each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In addition, both sides’ border posts and stations have actively worked together to conduct patrols in order to protect national border and border markers, and built facilities to create more favorable conditions for their border protection tasks.

At the same time, the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command has provided foods and electricity for three border stations of the police force of Mondulkiri province, and given free health check-ups to their Cambodian counterparts.

In the coming time, the two sides plan to further realize contents agreed by the Vietnam Border Guard Command and the Cambodian National Police, and give proposals for the two provincial authorities to soon connect Dak Rue Border Gate of Vietnam with the Chi Miet border gate of Cambodia.

Especially, they will continue to team up with each other to effectively fight illegal border crossing, crimes, human trafficking, and hostile forces’ plots attempting to sabotage social order and security along the shared borderline, contributing to building a borderline of peace, friendship, cooperation, and development.
