At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association’s Dak Lak chapter Pham Quang Hung congratulated the Cambodian government and people on their great achievements in the cause of building and developing peaceful and prosperous Cambodia and on the success of the seventh National Assembly election.

Representatives from the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association’s Dak Lak chapter and the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command present gifts to the Mondulkiri provincial border protection force.

The Vietnamese official hoped that the solidarity and friendship between the two nations in general and the armed forces of Mondulkiri and Dak Lak provinces in particular will be promoted and the two sides will continue to firmly manage and defend the shared borderline.

On behalf of the Mondulkiri provincial border protection force, Lieutenant Colonel Di Tu, Second-in-Command of Battalion 303 of the Mondulkiri Police Division expressed thanks to the Vietnamese units for their sentiments. He also hoped that the further development in the solidarity and friendly ties between Vietnam and Cambodia and the two provinces’ border protection forces will actively contribute to consolidating and promoting the solidarity, friendship, and cooperative relations between the two provinces, helping build a borderline of peace, stability, and sustainable development.

At the event, the Dak Lak chapter of Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association, the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command and Buon Don and Ea Sup border posts presented gifts to the host.

Earlier, the Vietnamese units paid tribute to heroes and fallen troops at Se Re Pok Border Post. On the occasion, some border posts under Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command presented gifts to Mondulkiri provincial border protection force.
