Since August 15, the team has visited the training ground in Saratov city, Russia, where the contest will take place. They also drew lots to select the colors of their competition vehicles, competition order, and tracks.

Together with other competitors, the Vietnamese crews learned about safety regulations during competition, techno-tactical features of the weapons and vehicles to be used during the contest, found out more about the competition environment and barriers.

According to Senior Colonel Kieu Van Minh, head of the Vietnamese artillery team, the team has practiced shooting to effectively adjust infantry weapons. Practicing in a new training ground and different climate condition, the Vietnamese artillery troops hit targets with high accuracy. They have also practiced loading and unloading mortar base and shortening operation time.

Though this year’s competition rules are quite different from those of the previous games, all team members are determined to achieve the best possible results. They are now ready for the competition.
