Expressing the delight at visiting beautiful and hospitable Malaysia, Senior Captain Doan Bao Anh thanked leaders of the Western Fleet for facilitating Frigate 20’s visit and Malaysian naval troops for thoughtful and enthusiastic welcome to the Vietnamese delegation.

The head of the Vietnamese delegation believed that exchange activities during the visit will contribute to further strengthening mutual understanding between Vietnamese and Malaysian officers and sailors, thus fostering the friendship and cooperation between the two navies in an intensive, effective, and sustainable manner.

Welcoming Frigate 20 and the delegation of the Vietnam People’s Navy to Lumut Base, one of the largest bases of the Royal Malaysian Navy, Commodore Harisundar Rajoo said that the visit would greatly contribute to strengthening the friendship between the two navies. He promised to send more naval ships to visit Vietnam in the coming time.

The same day, officers and sailors of the Western Fleet and Malaysian naval vessels toured Frigate 20.
