The Frigate 20’s visit to Malaysia this time aims to promote friendship exchange and mutual understanding and trust between the Vietnam People’s Navy and the Royal Malaysian Navy. In the framework of the visit, Frigate 20 and the Vietnamese naval delegation will pay courtesy calls on leaders of the Western Fleet, the Royal Malaysian Navy, join a sport and cultural exchange, and tour cultural and historical relic sites in the area. The officers and soldiers from the Western Fleet, Malaysian naval vessels will visit Frigate 20 and attend a banquet on board.

Besides, the frigate will refuel at Lumut Naval Port before heading to India to participate in the multilateral naval exercise MILAN 2024.

Reporters of the People’s Army Newspaper will update activities of Frigate 20 during the visit to Malaysia.
