On November 20, the Vietnamese delegation was hosted in Beijing by Senior Colonel Liu Zhongben, Chairman of the International Military Cooperation Office under the Chinese Ministry of National Defense.
The Chinese officer expressed his pleasure at receiving the visiting Vietnamese delegation and believed that the visit would help reinforce the exchange program and promote the two sides’ cooperation in a more effective and practical manner.
The host confirmed that the friendship between the two countries, which was fostered by Vietnamese President Ho Chi Minh and his Chinese counterpart Mao Zedong, and other revolutionary leaders and has been since nurtured by generations of Vietnamese and Chinese leaders and people, is the valuable fortune of the two nations, and two armies. Therefore, young generations of the two countries, including young officers, are responsible for preserving and bringing into full play that flourishing time-honored relationship.
