Both sides established a joint command, with each side forming three patrol teams. Two liaison teams, each consisting of two officers from each side, patrolled from Border Markers No.29 to 71.

The patrols were conducted on foot combined with vehicle use, following the method of border-to-border, point-to-point, and line-to-line, divided into two phases with a total patrol time of seven hours. During the patrol, both sides provided knowledge to border residents and distributed 300 legal information leaflets.

At the end of the patrol, both sides summarized the operation and updated each other on the recent border situations. They agreed on future cooperation measures, including sharing information through official letters and hotlines, and effectively handling emerging issues in crime prevention and border management. They also agreed to continue enhancing border patrols to promptly detect and prevent criminal activities, particularly illegal entry and exit, human trafficking, smuggling, and so on.
