The mission was joined by cadets and commanders of the Vietnam Naval Academy, as well as representatives of relevant agencies of the Vietnam Naval Service.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Duc Nam, Deputy Director of the Academy cum Head of the mission, held that the mission is to enhance friendship, mutual understanding and trust between the Vietnam People’s Navy and its neighboring counterparts, including the Royal Cambodian Navy and the Royal Thai Navy, and to promote exchanges among the naval forces for a region of peace, stability and development. It also provides an opportunity for naval cadets to improve their commanding capability, practical skills to master weapons and equipment as well as to deal with real situations.

The People’s Army Newspaper would like to introduce some images of the mission before leaving Nha Trang Port for Cambodia and Thailand.
