Vietnam’s Engineering Company Rotation 3 conducts social work program in Abyei

This was part of activities of the unit in celebration of the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and the 35th anniversary of the Whole-People Defense Festive Day (December 22).

Accordingly, Vietnamese troops built a football field; repaired roads to local hospital and parish, and implemented ground-filling work at Abyei’s radio station.

Senior Colonel Mac Duc Trong, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations, and members of the Engineering Company Rotation 3 present gifts to children at Abyei church.

On the occasion of heading a mission to visit Abyei, Senior Colonel Mac Duc Trong, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations and other delegates presented gifts to children at Abyei church.

The children are so happy for the gifts.

Providing fresh water to local people in Abyei

Sharing his emotion, Abyei parish priest Bino expressed his thanks to the Engineering Company Rotation 3 for carrying out various social work programs to support local people in Abyei.

Repairing roads for local people in Abyei

Lieutenant Colonel Le Hong Giang, Political Commissar of the company, underlined that the unit has attached much importance to mass mobilization work. Thus, their performances at all fields at the UNISFA have contributed to beautifying the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers to local people, authorities, and international friends.
