Notably, many cases of normal diseases, which became more severe due to shortage of medical care such as infectious dermatitis, breast abscess, otitis media, etc., have now been given medicines for treatment. The source of the medicines was sponsored by Vietnam’s Engineering Company Rotation 1 and the Pakistani forces.

Earlier this year, due to the restructuring of the UNISFA, counter forces carried out many activities of looting, attacking, even ethnic cleansing, forcing other ethnic groups to leave their living area... However, the UNISFA promptly mobilized forces to prevent conflicts, ensure security, and bring locals' lives back to normal.
Lieutenant Colonel Tran Quang Tuyen said that since its deployment to UNISFA, the company has been repairing and maintaining the major road, which is 50km long running through the Amiet Market, and regularly assists locals’ vehicles bogged down.
Last month, the unit saved six vehicles of the United Nations and locals. These activities have helped improve the quality of locals’ lives.
