Vietnam, RoK to boost medical cooperation
PANO – A medical delegation from Chungbuk National University Hospital of the Republic of Korea (RoK) visited and worked with Military Hospital 175 under Vietnam’s Ministry of National Defense on June 22 in Ho Chi Minh City to boost medical cooperation.
The two sides will cooperate in training medical personnel and building a cardiac, cerebral, and vascular center and a cancer center at Military Hospital 175.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed orientations to boost their cooperation focusing on exchanging experiences in treating cardiac, cerebral, and vascular diseases in the coming time. They also conducted a survey on building infrastructure for the cooperation project which will be carried out in three stages: survey, planning, and implementation.
In addition to the project, the RoK hospital also worked with Military Hospital 175 to build technical training programs to treat cardiovascular, cerebrum, and cancer diseases and rehabilitation techniques for Military Hospital 175’s medical personnel, as well as update medical knowledge and improve cardiovascular care to meet international standards.
