In his remarks, General Giang highlighted the progress in the bilateral defense relationship over the past time, which is considered an important pillar in Vietnam-Cambodia relations and embodies the spirit of “good neighbors, traditional friends, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term sustainability.”

The outcomes of the defense cooperation between the two militaries have contributed to safeguarding independence and territorial integrity and building a peaceful environment along with political and social stability for economic development in each country as well as to defeating reactionary and hostile forces' schemes to sabotage the solidarity between the two sides, he added.

The Vietnamese State granted the noble order to the RCAF’s recipients in recognition of the force’s efforts and contributions to the Vietnam-Cambodia relations in general, while continuing to expand the bilateral time-honored solidarity, the Vietnamese general concluded.
