During the event, the co-chairs agreed that the defense relations between Vietnam and the Philippines has continued to expand and the bilateral young officers’ exchange has contributed to affirming the sound relationship between the two militaries.

Colonel Nang of Vietnam briefed the young Philippine officers on youth union work and youth movements among young military officers of the VPA.

The two sides also discussed issues of mutual concern. Accordingly, over the past time, young military officers of the two countries have played a core role in implementing all political missions while upholding and promoting the glorious traditions of each military.

Furthermore, during the national construction and protection cause, they contributed to affirming the responsibility and position of each military in the ASEAN Community towards the task of maintaining peace, stability, development, and security in the region and the world.
