According to Lieutenant Colonel Tran Viet Nang, Head of the Military Youth Board and the Vietnamese delegation, this is the seventh year the two militaries have conducted the young officer exchange program.

He hoped that through activities at several Vietnamese units, the Indian delegation could learn more about Vietnam and its people, the Vietnam People's Army, and Vietnam's defense external affairs, thus actively contributing to enhancing mutual trust and understanding between the two militaries and two countries.
