Vietnam and Myanmar hold young officers’ exchange
PANO – The Vietnam-Myanmar Young Officers’ Exchange Program 2018 took place on September 18 in Hanoi.
Senior Colonel Dinh Quoc Hung, Head of the Military Youth Board under the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army, and Colonel Tin Zaw Latt, head of the Myanmar delegation, co-chaired the event.

During the exchange, Senior Colonel Dinh Quoc Hung and Colonel Tin Zaw Latt gave the two delegations an overview on young military officers of each country and agreed that young officers play an important role, especially in implementing political missions of the military.
They believed that relations based on solidarity, cooperation and mutual understanding between the two militaries in general, and their young officers in particular, would further develop in the coming time.

In addition, the two sides will submit recommendations to higher levels on organizing annual young officers’ exchanges and on enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields, contributing to promoting their role in expanding the relationship between the two countries, peoples and militaries.
