Vietnam, Laos conduct joint border patrol
PANO - My Ly Border Post under the Nghe An provincial Border Guard, from November 27 to 29, in coordination with the Huaphanh provincial Military Command, Laos, conducted a joint border patrol along the shared borderline.
This was an important activity, aiming to timely detect any cases of illegal violation so as to protect the shared borderline, while ensuring political security and social order in border areas.

During the event, the participating forces overcame difficulties to check border markers from No.389 to 391, with a total length of over 4km. As a result, all border markers were intact and secured.
Concluding the joint patrol, both sides signed the minutes of the event, and mapped out plans for upcoming joint border patrols.

On the occasion, My Ly Border Post, in collaboration with Ky Son Forest Protection and Management Board, inspected border markers from No.389 to No.397 with absolute safety.
