For his part, Flahaut said that the visit to Vietnam aims to support Vietnamese Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin victims, underlining that the Belgian Chamber of Representatives passed a resolution in support of AO/dioxin victims in Vietnam in October 2023. He also expressed the Belgian side’s hope to together with Vietnam realize the resolution.
