At the reception, the Vietnamese vice admiral and Indian ambassador reviewed prominent outcomes of the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India over the past 50 years.

The host and guest affirmed that despite complicated developments in the region and the world, the two countries have sustainably maintained the friendship and constantly developed their relationship. Promoting achievements gained in the past, the Vietnam - India ties will be deepened in the coming time.

Vice Admiral Tran Thanh Nghiem underlined that the relations between the two navies have been strengthened, especially since the two sides enhanced the cooperation in training, techniques, exchange of delegations at all levels, visits of ships, and other fields of common concern.

The two sides agreed on some contents to bolster the cooperative ties between the navies of Vietnam and India in the time ahead.

On this occasion, Ambassador Sandeep Arya invited the Vietnamese Navy to send ship to MILAN exercise hosted by the Indian Navy early next year.
