Vibrant exchange activities between Vietnamese and Chinese navies
PANO - During their visit to China for the 10th Vietnam - China Border Defense Friendship Exchange, officers and sailors from Ship 015–Tran Hung Dao and Ship 012–Ly Thai To, alongside peers from the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy at Guangzhou Naval Base, engaged in a range of meaningful activities, including ship visits, sports competitions, and cultural exchanges.
At Fangcheng Port in Guangxi, China, personnel from both sides had the opportunity to share professional experience, strengthen mutual understanding, and enhance camaraderie. These interactions contributed to reinforcing friendly, cooperative, and trust-based relations between the two navies and militaries, while supporting the broader Vietnam - China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
Sports competitions were held in a lively and friendly atmosphere, featuring tug of war, semaphore flag recognition, relay racing, basketball, and heaving line throwing. Most events were organized with mixed Vietnamese and Chinese teams, encouraging interaction and teamwork.
