Besides, they also studied 31 topics on military strategy research, participated in field trips to units under the Air Defense - Air Force Service, the Vietnam People's Navy, Army Corps 2, Military Regions 2 and 9, the Political Academy,  Army Officer Training School No.1 (also known as Tran Quoc Tuan University); and visited some historical and cultural relic sites.

These activities helped them learn more about Vietnam, its people and military, thus contributing to expanding solidarity between the two militaries and the two countries.

Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Than, Deputy Director of the Defense Strategy Institute, said that with a high sense of responsibility and the utmost efforts of both trainees and instructors, the training course was successful with high quality. He also hoped that the officers of the Lao People’s Army would creatively apply their new knowledge to their task performance in the coming time.
