Major General Be Hai Trieu, Director of the Department of Mass Mobilization attended the event.

Implementing the cooperation plan in 2025 between the two defense ministries on organizing a refresher course on mass mobilization work for officers of the Department of Grassroots Construction under the General Department of Political Affairs of the Lao People’s Army, a one-month long course was successfully organized, meeting the set targets and ensuring absolute safety.

An overview of the event

During the course, Lao trainees studied and exchanged views on eight specialized topics related to mass mobilization work and grassroots development, focusing on clarifying the position, role, significance, content, forms, and methods of implementing mass mobilization work by the military in building the grassroots political system, conducting mass mobilization in ethnic-inhabited and religious areas, and mobilizing the public in protecting national sovereignty and border security.

In his speech, Maj. Gen. Be Hai Trieu affirmed that the success of the course was not only the research and exchange expertise, but also the contribution to deepening the solidarity and close ties between the two militaries and peoples.
