Sport event strengthens cooperation between Vietnamese and Cambodian border management forces
PANO – The An Giang provincial Border Guard Command held a friendship football, volleyball and marathon tournament for Vietnam’ and Cambodia’s border management forces on August 22 in Tinh Bien district.

The three-day event is part of the activities in the Vietnam-Cambodia Border Friendship Exchange 2019. It has attracted the participation of nine teams from Vietnam’s An Giang province and Cambodia’s Takeo province.
Such activities are expected to contribute to strengthening political trust, solidarity and friendship between the two localities as well as promoting cooperation between the border management forces of Vietnam and Cambodia, contributing to building a shared border of peace, friendship, stability, cooperation and development.
