During the visit, the delegation explored the museum’s exhibition system and was briefed on the different historical periods in Vietnam’s struggles for national independence and in Fatherland defense and development cause. They also learned about the significant support Vietnam received from international friends throughout its history.
The delegation expressed deep impressions on the museum’s scale, architecture, and display spaces. The Vietnam Military History Museum currently preserves more than 150,000 documents and artifacts, including military equipment, organized in thematic exhibition areas reflecting key milestones in the nation’s history.
These artifacts serve as vivid evidence of the heroic victories, indomitable will, and resilience of the Vietnamese troops and people, a nation that endured countless sacrifices in wartime, driven by an unyielding belief in and aspiration for independence and freedom.
The museum also stands as an important center for education and communication, helping present and future generations better understand the power of noble international solidarity and the spirit of “sharing hardships” for independence, freedom, peace, and friendship.
Vietnam always appreciates and is grateful for the great support of international friends in the past, at present, and in the future and remains committed to preserving, strengthening, and developing those friendship in the spirit of peace, cooperation, and sustainable development.
