According to Senior Captain Bui Duy Thong, the sailing vessel’s visit to Singapore was a practical activity in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic ties and the 10th anniversary of their strategic partnership. He affirmed that the exchange between the two sides would contribute to tightening the relationship, cooperation, mutual understanding, and trust between the two militaries and navies. He hoped that similar visits would be implemented regularly so as to boost solidarity between the two countries.

After the three-day visit and exchange with Singaporean Navy, the Vietnamese Navy has left a good impression on the Singaporean side, thereby introducing the peace-loving Vietnamese country, people, and Navy.

During the journey back home, the ship will also conduct training at sea for naval cadets. Sailing Vessel 286 - Le Quy Don is scheduled to arrive at Nha Trang Port on October 20.
