In her remarks, Sr. Col. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien evaluated that during the course, 20 Lao female officers were equipped with 10 theoretical topics on women's work and movements in the military.

The trainees proactively and actively studied, participated in discussions, and found out similar and new issues in the women's work of the two countries; thereby, they drew lessons and applied them to the women's work and movement of the Laos People's Army in a creative and effective manner.

Meanwhile, the trainees offered incense in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and visited several units of the Vietnam People’s Army, including the Hanoi Capital Command, Air Defense - Air Force Service, Armored Corps, General Department of Defense Industry, and others. At these units, Lao servicewomen were introduced to effective models in the women’s work and movements and exemplary servicewomen over the periods.

Sr. Col. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien affirmed that the success of the course showed the sentiment, responsibility, solidarity and mutual understanding between the two countries’ servicewomen, contributing to deepening the special friendship and solidarity and close-kit ties between the two militaries.

For her part, Major General Phayvon Inthabout, Head of the Women Division of the Lao People’s Army, affirmed that the trainees would apply acquired knowledge to real situations, contributing to further promoting the development of the women’s work in the time to come.
