Preparation for first Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia Border Defense Friendship Exchange checked
PANO – A mission of the Ministry of National Defense, led by Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, checked the preparation for the first Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia Border Defense Friendship Exchange in Kon Tum province on November 2.
During the inspection, the delegation was briefed on the provincial Border Guard Command and functional agencies’ preparations for the exchange and conducted field inspections in preparation for the important event.
Speaking at the inspection, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan highly appreciated functional agencies and units’ thoughtful and thorough preparations for the event.
The deputy chief of the General Staff asked the provincial Border Guard Command and relevant agencies to soon complete functional projects and continue the preparation to ensure that the first Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia Border Defense Friendship Exchange will be a success and meet all set requirements.
