Preparation for 7th Vietnam-China border defense friendship exchange checked

The delegation was joined by leaders of the Cao Bang provincial People’s Committee and Party Committee, the Department of Foreign Relations under the Ministry of National Defense, the Vietnam Border Guard Command, the Military Region 1 Command, and relevant agencies.

After inspecting all the venues and facilities preserved for the exchange, General Chien assigned tasks to relevant agencies, units and forces.

The deputy defense minister required them to quickly complete environmental hygiene and decorations in the areas where the exchange will take place, continue to conduct exercise to ensure absolute safety for people and vehicles participating in the event.

Previously, on April 7, General Chien and Secretary of the Cao Bang provincial Party’s Committee Tran Hong Minh co-chaired a conference reviewing the preparation of the locality and collaboration between the defense ministry and local agencies in organizing the exchange.
