Philippine Air Force delegation visits Regiment 930

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Chinh, Second-in-Command of Regiment 930 chaired the reception for the Philippine delegation which consisted of eight members, including the defense attaché to Vietnam.

At the event, the Philippine delegation was introduced to the unit’s building and development over the past more than 47 years, from its inception to present, as well as its current key tasks.

During the working session, the two sides discussed fields of common concern, such as pilot training, search and rescue operations, and disaster prevention and control.

Colonel Marvin D. Suficienca thanked the host for the solemn reception. He expressed his hope to continue strengthening the close cooperation with the Air Defense - Air Force Service, including Regiment 930, and promoting information sharing, contributing to the effective and intensive development of the relationship between two countries and militaries.
